Alfie Kungu, Childrens Party

€1,450.00

Acrylic, ink, oil bar on card
42 x 60 cm

Alfie Kungu’s work is visually impactful, embracing immersive scales with implementation of vivid colour palettes, textures, and whimsical forms. Approaching his canvas with an equal measure of refinement and a set of enviable instincts — Kungu evokes a sense of warmth and tenderness.

Alfie presents new perceptions for his audience to decode, but most importantly, enjoy. Each canvas represents a chorus of movement; figuration is set against abstraction, dancing to the rhythm of pattern and meandering strokes. No single principal could be used to explain the works Alfie produces, the painter flourishes with his own autonomy. A true testament to the intrinsic freedom of the creative act.

Recently, Alfie has collaborated with North Face, Calvin Klein, Carhartt and Brain Dead and has exhibited with the Carl Freedman Gallery, the Haricot Gallery and the Institute of Contemporary Arts, London. To enquire about any of our artworks DM or email hello@glovebox.space
