€2,850.00

90 x 117cm / 35.5 x 46 inches
Oil, acrylic, house paint and textures on 19 Mahogany and Plywood panels.

Sheep-shaped buffs (graffiti removals) along Camden Row, Dublin. The application of the buff and farmers marks are comparable in that they are created with an uninhibitedness, for function rather than aesthetics. Just like a real flock, the Camden flock of buffs is constantly evolving and changing. They appear in all shapes and sizes, with new sheep appearing and disappearing over time and it even has a few black sheep. During the pandemic, plywood shuttered, locked-down venues provided new pastures. The colour palette on each panel is directly inspired by the colours that feature by each buff/sheep in the laneway.
