Sarah O’Brien, Cork, 1980. MFA Painting. Lives and works in Kinsale, Co.Cork. Recent selected shows include: FRONTS/ BACKS, The Complex, Dublin (2023), WE CAN DANCE, West Cork, (2021), NEW LIGHT, Lewis Glucksman Gallery, Cork (2020), RHA OPEN 2020 (Invited Artist). Sarah was selected to partake in SIM Residency, Reykjavik, Iceland in March 2022. Her work is in the collection of the OPW and she is a recipient of awards from The Arts Council of Ireland and the RHA.
Sarah’s studio research includes folk art, shamanic and ‘outsider’ art traditions.
